This is a photo of George Washington Coughran (my great-great-granduncle) and his wife Francis Adeline Props. The photo was taken between 1915-1917. Both were born in Arkansas and died in Texas. If you notice, she is wearing a uniform of some type with an unusual collar. I’ve been trying to find out what the uniform is. I am not aware of women wearing uniforms at that time. Can anyone provide me with any clues?
